Hello, I am Samantha Rocoff. I am a graduate of Regent University Class of 2024. I graduated
from Regent with an M.A. in School Counseling. I completed my undergraduate studies at Virginia
Commonwealth University where I studied Psychology and Criminal Justice in May of 2021. I have
been working in education for 3 years and have one year of full-time classroom experience with
Hanover County Public Schools, of which I am a proud 2017 graduate. I follow a mix of person-centered
and solution focused brief therapy. Person centered is there to help us build that rapport and
give that unconditional positive regard. This allows us to support the student as a human being
that is worthy of love, respect, and understanding. Solution-focused believes that the students
have all of the resources they need in order to solve their problems and overcome obstacles.
I am happy to talk more extensively about my many experiences with you and look forward to hearing
from you.
